Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to optimize production capacity across front-end wafer fabs and to drive delivery plans. You will manage WIP metrics across global foundries, build predictive models, and synthesize market forecasts to inform Master Production Scheduling.

The role requires 4+ years in supply chain, semiconductor experience, and proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis, Tableau, and Power BI. Travel and a 1st shift in a high-tech environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 4+ years of dedicated supply chain experience.
• 2+ years in semiconductor or high-tech hardware manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Blue Yonder/JDA, Kinaxis, or NetSuite.
• Deep knowledge of Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Strong spreadsheet modeling capabilities.
• Understanding of chip fabrication flows, die-sorting metrics, substrate constraints, and yield calculations.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
• 10% travel required.
• 1st Shift/Days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize production capacity allocation across multiple front-end wafer fabrication facilities.
• Drive solution development, change management, customer communications, department efficiency monitoring, and delivery plans.
• Manage WIP tracking metrics across global foundries to identify and resolve transit delays and yield excursions.
• Build predictive models and dashboards to evaluate multi-tier supply chain risks and supplier performance.
• Synthesize market forecasts with long foundry lead times to drive Master Production Scheduling.
• Review safety stock thresholds for raw materials, substrates, and finished die to minimize excess inventory.
• Partner with Global Sourcing, Product Engineering, Finance, and Logistics to support NPI ramps.
• Identify business opportunities and creative solutions to complex problems.
• Prepare, analyze, and present SCM metrics and trends to senior management.
• Improve metrics over time to drive productivity and profitability.

Job description

• Manage WIP tracking metrics across global foundries to identify and resolve transit delays and yield excursions


• Build predictive models and dashboards to evaluate multi-tier supply chain risks, component shortages, and supplier delivery performance


• Synthesize volatile market forecasts with long foundry lead times to drive Master Production Scheduling


• Review safety stock thresholds for critical raw materials, substrates, and finished die to minimize excess inventory and obsolescence while ensuring customer fulfillment


• Partner with Global Sourcing Managers, Product Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams to support NPI ramps


• Identify business opportunities and creative solutions to complex problems


• Prepare, analyze, and present SCM metrics, performance against targets, and trends to senior management


• Improve metrics over time to drive increased productivity and profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline


• 4+ years of dedicated supply chain experience


• At least 2 years operating directly within a semiconductor or high-tech hardware manufacturing environment


• Advanced proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Blue Yonder/JDA, Kinaxis, or NetSuite


• Deep knowledge of Tableau and/or Power BI


• Strong spreadsheet modeling capabilities


• Firm understanding of chip fabrication flows, die-sorting metrics, substrate constraints, and manufacturing yield calculations


• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience


• Required travel of 10% of the time
