Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to optimize production capacity across multiple semiconductor facilities and steer strategic supply chain decisions. You will build predictive models and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) to monitor risks, manage WIP, and support New Product Introductions with cross-functional teams.

Travel up to 10% may be required. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in high-tech manufacturing, strong ERP skills (Oracle Fusion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical discipline related to supply chain or operations
  • 4+ years of dedicated supply chain experience
  • At least 2 years operating directly within a semiconductor or high-tech hardware manufacturing environment
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP and planning tools (Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Blue Yonder/JDA, Kinaxis, NetSuite)
  • Deep knowledge of Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Strong spreadsheet modeling capabilities
  • Firm understanding of chip fabrication flows, die-sorting metrics, substrate constraints, and manufacturing yield calculations
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
  • Travel of 10% of the time
  • Export licensing review considerations for sensitive data

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize production capacity allocation across multiple front-end wafer fabrication facilities
  • Drive solution development, change management, customer communications, department efficiency monitoring, and long- and short-term customer delivery plans
  • Manage work-in-progress tracking metrics across global foundries to identify and resolve transit delays and yield excursions
  • Build predictive models and dashboards to evaluate multi-tier supply chain risks, component shortages, and supplier delivery performance
  • Synthesize volatile market forecasts with long foundry lead times to drive Master Production Scheduling
  • Review safety stock thresholds for critical raw materials, substrates, and finished die
  • Partner with Global Sourcing Managers, Product Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams to support New Product Introduction ramps
  • Identify business opportunities and creative solutions to complex problems
  • Prepare, analyze, and present key supply chain management metrics, performance against targets, and trends to senior management
  • Improve metrics over time to drive increased productivity and profitability

Requirements
