The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain activities. The planner develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc., in support of business growth and sustainment. The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program/product launches. SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
The Supply Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue, and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. The planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve program and functional goals.
As a senior planner, this position requires a strong understanding of procurement and planning process steps; the individual must be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure program success. The candidate will be expected to train and mentor junior supply chain team members. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with creativity, a continuous improvement approach, and latitude to fulfill various duties.
Full-Time Salary Range: $81,156 - $137,964
Please note: This range is based on market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by factors such as skills, education, experience, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity.
