Job summary

Clean Harbors in Norwell, MA is seeking a Supply Chain Planner (Demand Planner) to develop and execute demand and supply plans for optimal service levels. The role collaborates with procurement, manufacturing, distribution and branch operations to manage regional inventory and ensure efficient product flow.

The candidate will work with IT on new supply chain applications, manage replenishment, and strive to reduce landed costs while maintaining strong safety practices in every operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Supply Chain or Business Analytics experience preferred.
• ERP systems/Planning software experience preferred.
• Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Experience presenting to all levels of management required.

Responsibilities

• Generates, owns and maintains the Forecast/Demand Plan with business stakeholders.
• Allocates resources based on Master Production Schedule and forecasted demand.
• Analyzes production capacity and adjusts plans to disruptions.
• Optimizes network sourcing across procurement, transportation, and distribution.
• Works with IT to develop and test supply chain applications.
• Manages auto-replenishment at branches and distribution centers.
• Reviews manual requisitions to maintain proper inventory levels.

Clean Harbors, Norwell, MA is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their safety conscious team! Clean Harbors is seeking a Supply Chain Planner (internally known as Demand Planner) to develop and execute demand/DRP/Supply plans that enable the company to provide optimal service levels to our customers. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for managing inventory supply levels for a given region or line of business. Planning will include coordination with procurement, transportation, manufacturing, distribution, and branch operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Responsible for generating, owning and maintaining the Forecast/Demand Plan for their assigned scope (line of business or products line) in partnership with their business stakeholders by incorporating business intelligence and future information gathered from management, sales, marketing, finance and retail (customer facing site) data
• Allocate efficient use of resources based on the Master Production Schedule, aligning forecasted demand with production capacity.
• Analyze current production capacity/capabilities and identify limitations/ unexpected disruptions that could impact production; Monitor and adjust as needed.
• Optimize network sourcing to build efficiencies across procurement, transportation, and distribution.
• Develop technical roadmap that will enable us to optimize product flow across the network.
• Work closely with IT to develop, build, and test new supply chain applications.
• Manage auto-replenishment settings at Branches and Distribution Centers.
• Review and approve manual requisitions placed by branch locations to maintain proper inventory levels and avoid overstock.
• Analyze and develop action plans that will reduce total landed cost for all product offerings.
• Meet with various levels of management to identify and strategically solve problems that may arise in the supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of Supply Chain or Business Analytics experience preferred;

Pay Range: 41500.00 - 133303.00 Annually
