Job summary

Nintendo of America in North Bend, WA is seeking an experienced supply chain supervisor to lead distribution and packaging teams on-site. You will forecast workload, set goals, and ensure accurate receiving, tracking and transfer of shipments, while driving efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational, coaching, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to delegate effectively allowing others to grow.
• Ability to identify, define, and analyze problems; use a problem-solving process; develop decision-making strategies; generate potential solutions; judge and evaluate results; implement solutions (Plan-Do-Check-Act).
• Ability to work with highly confidential and/or sensitive matters.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency; IBM iSeries and Oracle EBS knowledge preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Specialized training in automated warehouse packaging and distribution systems or equivalent preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts and manages work volume, work schedules, and staffing levels, coordinating with other departments.
• Sets goals for performance and deadlines aligned with plans and vision.
• Ensures incoming/outgoing shipments are received, tracked, and transferred.
• Investigates and resolves freight discrepancies and issues.
• Oversees production lines and/or pick/pack assembly lines.
• Manages complex projects with fluctuating deadlines.
• Ensures safety and training guidelines are followed.
• Drives metrics and workflow analysis to improve quality and efficiency.
• Assists in budget planning and identifying key drivers.
• Coordinates with HR to address staff performance issues and coaching.
• Decides hiring for hourly personnel and salary recommendations.
