Job summary

Xenon arc seeks an Operations Specialist to develop end-to-end supply chains, collaborate with commercial teams, and coordinate with clients and logistics partners in the Chicago area.

You will help enhance customer experience, create actionable reporting, and drive efficiencies across the supply chain, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This is a full-time role based in Rosemont, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience in supply chain, business administration or STEM.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience, depending on need.
• Experience with ERP systems and report generation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and implement end-to-end supply chain solutions for multiple business teams.
• Manage inventory to efficiently serve end-customers while controlling costs and working capital.
• Assist in management of purchase orders including confirmation, shipping and receiving.
• Strengthen logistics partner relationships to ensure best-in-class service and favorable pricing.
• Build reports using CRM and ERP data to visualize insights for business teams.
• Create operational efficiencies through technology and automation.

You will work directly with our commercial teams, clients, and logistics partners to add value throughout the supply chain, enhance customer experience and create reporting that can drive business behavior. The Operations Specialist reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Main areas of responsibility

• Assist in management of purchase orders including confirmation review, shipping, and receiving
• Strengthen logistic partner relationships to ensure best-in-class service and below market pricing
• Build reports using CRM and ERP data to visualize insights into business teams
• Create operational efficiencies through technology and automation

Basic Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management or STEM disciplines. Relevant work experience and/or internship(s) a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong adaptability, creativity and drive to succeed
• Strong team player; motivated and extremely customer ce kills Analytical and problem-solving ability
• 0-3 year’s work experience, depending on need, prior roles & responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Professional experience managing supply chains in a B2B environment
• Experience developing purchase plans and managing working capital
• Experienced in use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
