Job description

The Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in driving end-to-end supply chain performance by combining data‑driven insights with hands‑on execution. This role is responsible for optimizing inventory, distribution, and logistics operations while proactively identifying and resolving supply chain challenges. Beyond analysis, this role takes ownership of key processes, supports system improvements, and leads initiatives that enhance service levels, reduce costs, and improve operational agility. The Specialist contributes directly to continuous improvement efforts, ensuring efficient product flow, strong customer service performance, and scalable processes to support sustainable business growth.

CORE OBJECTIVES
  • Lead and execute process improvement initiatives across supply chain functions (planning, inventory, and logistics), including identifying inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and tracking impact on KPIs such as service level, inventory turns, and cost-to-serve.
  • Develop, maintain, and actively monitor dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to drive decision‑making.
  • Proactively identifying service risks and supply disruptions, lead mitigation planning with stakeholders.
  • Act as a key supply chain representative in ERP or system implementations, enhancements, and maintenance.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis for operational issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support new product launches and promotional planning.
  • Support demand and supply planning activities through scenario analysis and recommendations.
  • Coordinate closely with 3PL partners to ensure service level adherence and operational excellence.
  • Serve as back up for Customer Logistics coordinators.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) preferred.
