Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking an Operations Lead, Supply Chain to coordinate daily staffing and operations across inventory management, receiving, and distribution of products, including print shop operations. This role acts as subject matter expert for training new supply chain clerks and ensures standard work and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in supply chain, warehousing, inventory management, or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work under pressure in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager or supervisor with all the operational aspects of the department.
• Coordinate the design, layout and implementation of all new par locations including setup, item maintenance, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Contracting, and Accounts Payable to secure products needed to support Springfield Clinic operations.
• Support daily unfill rates with supply availability and works closely with purchasing, vendors, and customers to ensure products and substitutions are available.
• Work with supply chain management team and IT to develop best practices for managing inventory and enhancing customer experience through the order to receive process.
• Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
• Adhere to OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
• Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
