Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Lead to oversee training, inventory management, and coordination with procurement and suppliers. The role includes prioritizing requests and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures across the department.

The incumbent will mentor staff, manage par levels, and run routine reports while collaborating with clinical management on priorities and performance.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and inventory management.
• Interpersonal skills to represent Brown University Health and Supply Chain within and outside the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn supporting information systems.

Responsibilities

• Train employees directly and through delegation or shadowing.
• Manage department inventory, monitor usage, maintain par forms, assist recalls and substitutions.
• Coordinate deliveries with Supply Chain Procurement and suppliers; handle priority requests.
• Run and maintain reports, interact with clinical management on staffing and priorities.
• Contribute to recruitment, retention, performance enhancement, and competency assessment with the Manager.
