Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer, Supply Chain (Starlink) in Redmond, WA to drive improvements in materials management and satellite supply chain processes. You will interact with development, supply chain, and production teams to design and implement efficient systems.

The role emphasizes data-driven process improvements, KPI development, and hands-on training of staff to elevate operational performance and reduce waste, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/or inventory management (including school projects, clubs, or internships)
• Experience with CAD software, SQL, BI tools, and data analysis tools is valued
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with statistics, data analysis, and visualization

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute upgrades related to materials management to meet production demand
• Manage material flow projects and communicate with stakeholders
• Improve inventory, on‑time delivery, reliability, and waste reduction
• Analyze value stream challenges and develop solutions
• Develop and monitor key process indicators and metrics
• Transform data to communicate activities and build business cases for improvements
• Train inventory and logistics staff on best practices
