Whataburger is seeking a Supply Chain Operations and Demand Planning Sr. Specialist at the San Antonio Home Office. The role focuses on ensuring the right products reach the right places at the right time through data‑driven planning and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will lead forecasting, inventory strategies, and planning models, working with restaurants and partners to improve service, efficiency, and performance. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Day-to-Day Ingredients — Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Operations and Demand Planning Sr. Specialist, you will:

Lead demand and supply planning across products, suppliers, and business segments.
Analyze inventory, operational, and demand data to identify risks and opportunities.
Develop inventory strategies that balance service levels, cost, and working capital.
Build and maintain forecasting, replenishment, and planning models.
Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for supply chain challenges.
Facilitate cross-functional planning discussions and support business decision-making.
Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting to drive visibility and accountability.
Monitor inventory, logistics, and supply chain performance trends.
Support product launches, growth initiatives, and strategic business projects.
Recommend and implement improvements to forecasting, inventory, and supply chain processes.
Develop business cases and data‑driven analyses to support operational decisions.
Serve as a supply chain planning resource and trusted partner to stakeholders across the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Where & How You’ll Work

This role is based at the San Antonio Home Office, working on‑site Monday through Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays. In this role, you’ll have strong collaboration with leadership, across cross-functional teams, and with external partners to align capabilities with restaurant realities. The work environment is fast‑paced and requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills. Full‑time availability is required, with occasional extended hours based on business needs, along with occasional travel to properties, project sites, and external meetings. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the San Antonio Home Office.
