Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) is the team that powers operations for Sub-Same Day delivery (SSD) across North America. We are at the forefront of ultrafast fulfillment innovation and are in the midst of building the next big thing.
You will be working as a member of the Supply Chain and Topology team supporting faster than same day delivery. Our team owns topology and coverage optimization of our dedicated last mile fulfillment network, considering many factors including customer experience, cost, quality, and driver experience. We also develop long-term strategies for expansion planning and innovative delivery models to enable the speed offering for customers. The Supply Chain Manager is expected to deal with ambiguity, drive insights, and leverage strong problem-solving skills to lead critical business decisions. This role requires the ability to design sustainable solutions and collaborate across stakeholder teams including Retail, Finance, Tech, and Operations.
This role is available in Nashville, New York City, or Bellevue.
Key job responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance or related fields.
- 2+ years of forecasting, designing or modeling supply chain.
- 2+ years of corporate process improvement experience within supply chain.
- MS Excel: Intermediate. V-lookups and Pivot Tables at minimum.
- SQL/Programming Language: Basic – utilize to extract, manipulate and analyze data.
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
