Supply Chain Manager, Sub Same Day Delivery

Job Overview

Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) powers operations for Sub-Same Day delivery (SSD) across North America. We are at the forefront of ultrafast fulfillment innovation, building the next big thing.

You will support faster-than-same-day delivery as part of the Supply Chain and Topology team. Your responsibilities include optimizing topology and coverage of our last mile network, considering customer experience, cost, quality, and driver experience. You will develop strategies for expansion and innovative delivery models to enhance speed offerings. The role requires managing ambiguity, deriving insights, and collaborating across teams including Retail, Finance, Tech, and Operations.

This position is available in Nashville, New York City, or Bellevue.

Key Responsibilities

• Build models to solve complex delivery and topology problems, balancing customer coverage, capacity, speed, and costs.
• Innovate to simplify business models and processes.
• Develop and validate business strategies amid ambiguity.
• Manage large data sets and conduct deep data analysis to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with teams to implement delivery strategies and topology plans.
• Manage project execution, assess risks, and propose alternatives.
• Coordinate with field partners to improve delivery quality and customer experience.
• Show initiative and ownership mentality to accomplish tasks.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
• 2+ years experience in forecasting, designing, or modeling supply chain processes.
• 2+ years experience in process improvement within supply chain.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables).
• Basic SQL or programming skills for data extraction and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in process improvements.
• Stakeholder management experience across organizational levels.
