Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Manager I in Colorado to lead a subcontract management team and oversee supplier relationships. You will drive sourcing, pricing, and risk mitigation to meet production schedules and program objectives.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration across contracts, legal, and engineering to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years in operations or related area; higher degree substitutes experience.
• In absence of a degree, minimum 11 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of subcontract management specialists and managers.
• Oversee all phases of the subcontract lifecycle: sourcing, proposal, negotiation, contract administration, closeout.
• Negotiate subcontractor pricing, schedules, terms and conditions, and milestones.
• Develop and manage a robust supply base to meet program needs and improve supplier performance.
