Job summary

point of view beauty is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain execution for DTC and wholesale channels. You will own item master setup, PO lifecycle, and inventory health reporting in a fast-moving startup environment.

The role requires hands-on PO management, 3PL coordination, and collaboration with demand forecasting on S&OP inputs to minimize risk and ensure product availability across channels.

Responsibilities

• Own item master setup and maintenance across internal systems, 3PL, and retail partners.
• Manage purchase order lifecycle—from requisition through supplier confirmation, deposit, and delivery tracking.
• Maintain weekly inventory health reporting including WOS, stockout risk, and replenishment triggers.
• Coordinate inbound logistics with suppliers and freight forwarders, including mode-of-transport decisions.
• Support wholesale operations — PO receipt, 3PL fulfillment coordination, routing guide compliance.
• Own 3PL relationship day-to-day — SLA monitoring, exception management, special order processing.
• Collaborate with demand forecasting on S&OP inputs and forward coverage analysis.
• Identify and flag supply risks; elevate with recommendations.

About this role

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for

end-to-end supply chain execution — spanning item setup, supply planning, inventory

management, and order fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized,

execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with

cross-functional dependencies. This role will contribute to POV by building scalable supply

chain processes that support retail growth, and ensure product availability across DTC and

wholesale channels.

• Weeks of supply maintained within target range by SKU tier
• On-time inbound delivery rate vs. PO delivery date

• Item setup accuracy and lead time for new launches

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supply chain, operations, or logistics experience in a consumer products environment
• Hands-on experience with PO management, inventory planning, and 3PL coordination
• Proficiency in spreadsheet-based planning tools; comfort building and maintaining trackers
• Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple open work streams simultaneously
• Experience working with retail partners and understanding of wholesale compliance requirements (routing guides, EDI basics)
• Clear communicator — written and verbal — across internal teams and external vendors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in beauty, personal care, or adjacent CPG
• Familiarity with ecommerce and wholesale operations or similar specialty retail accounts
• Exposure to EDI transaction workflows
• Experience transitioning from fractional/consulting support to in-house ownership
• Comfort working in a remote, lean startup environment
