Job summary

Our Client, a Japanese Electronics Trading and Distribution company in McAllen, TX, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end operations and drive efficiency.

The role requires leadership of a logistics team, coordination with customers, suppliers, forwarders, and HQ in Japan, and ensuring compliance with import/export laws. Salary ranges 80-110k base plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• Experience in procurement and distribution industry preferred.
• Japanese language is a plus for HQ communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customer service.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, forwarders/couriers, 3PL warehouses, and Headquarters in Japan.
• Establish process flows for new initiatives and optimize logistics to improve quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
• Build and lead a supply chain team and provide structured training for efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment and oversee office operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, laws, and company policies, including import/export rules.

Position: Supply Chain Manager

Salary: 80-110k Base + Benefits Package

Job Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customer service.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, forwarders/couriers, 3PL warehouses, and the Headquarters in Japan.
• Establish process flows for new business initiatives and continuously optimize supply chain operations to enhance logistics QCD (Quality, Cost, and Delivery).
• Build and lead a supply chain team, providing structured training to maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment while overseeing overall office operations.
• Execute operations in full compliance with relevant industry regulations, legal standards, and company policies.
• Ensure strict adherence to international import/export laws and customs regulations, staying
• updated on regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in supply chain management
• Experience in supply chain, procurement, and distribution industry is preferred.
• Japanese (for HQ communication) is a plus.
