EFCO Forming & Shoring Solutions is seeking a strategic Materials Management leader to oversee end-to-end procurement, supplier performance, and inventory control across the global supply chain. The role focuses on aligning purchasing practices with enterprise goals while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
The position requires 5–10 years in manufacturing/procurement, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and preferred CPSM/CSCP certification.
Purpose Providing strategic leadership for EFCO's Materials Management and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's global supply chain, including vendor selection & management, material and accessory procurement, outsourcing, and inventory control, including on time arrival for use to ensure a consistent, cost-effective supply of goods and services. Champion enterprise alignment on best practices in purchasing, inventory optimization, and vendor performance. This role requires a visionary leader who can align supply chain strategies with company values and strategic objectives while fostering collaboration and innovation across global / cross-functional teams, and is accountable for the end-to-end purchase order process including the integration among internal functions - such as operations, purchasing, and logistics. This leader owns managing the external suppliers, across all categories including raw materials, components, MRO, IT supplies, and finished goods. This will ensure part availability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals to drive continuous improvement in material planning and flow to support operational success and enable LIPCC (Lowest In Place Concrete Cost). Establish key performance benchmarks, lead a small team, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and supplier partners. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Procurement Strategy (35%) Lead procurement strategy, vendor selection, and supplier relationship management to minimize total landed cost, reduce supply & inventory risk, and strengthen EFCO's overall chain of supply. Manage a team that consistently strives to improve the supply of materials across all categories. Demonstrate Leadership and Responsibility in developing SOPs, optimizing procurement workflows, and driving supplier performance. Inventory Management and New Product Readiness (30%) Coordinate inventory control and logistics planning to ensure efficient customer order fulfillment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for and execute New Product Launch initiatives. Apply Organization and Judgment to improve visibility and flow of materials across the company. Process Optimization and Quality Alignment (20%) Implement continuous improvement initiatives in supplier selection, materials planning and movement. Establish performance metrics, track progress, and adjust processes to ensure internal alignment with product / customer requirements and business goals. Use Technical Skills and Attention to Detail to support LIPCC and enhance supply chain quality. Enterprise Integration & Team Development (15%) Foster an environment aligned with EFCO's core values of Quality, Integrity, Innovation, and Super Service. Mentor direct reports, promote institutional knowledge retention, and advance a culture of excellence.
