Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers supporting supply chain systems and warehouse technologies.
• Drive execution of engineering initiatives, operational support activities, capacity planning, and project delivery.
• Partner with business leaders, operations teams, architects, and external vendors to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Participate in solution architecture, design reviews, implementation planning, and system modernization efforts.
• Support and enhance warehouse management and fulfillment platforms.
• Lead integration initiatives connecting legacy applications and modern cloud-based technologies.
• Help drive RFID implementation to improve inventory visibility and efficiency.
• Oversee API development, enterprise integrations, and data flows across supply chain systems.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to reliability, service delivery, and performance.

A client of mine is looking for a Manager, Supply Chain Engineering to lead a team responsible for supporting and enhancing critical warehouse and supply chain technology platforms. This individual will play a key role in driving system integrations, enabling inventory visibility initiatives, supporting warehouse operations, and helping modernize the technology ecosystem that powers a growing distribution network.

This is a highly visible leadership position with the opportunity to influence architecture, engineering strategy, operational excellence, and emerging technology initiatives, including RFID implementation and inventory tracking capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals supporting supply chain systems and warehouse technologies
• Drive execution of engineering initiatives, operational support activities, capacity planning, and project delivery
• Partner with business leaders, operations teams, architects, and external vendors to align technology solutions with business objectives
• Participate in solution architecture, technical design reviews, implementation planning, and system modernization efforts

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, supply chain systems, or related technical environments
• 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Experience supporting warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain technology platforms
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Experience with RFID technologies, inventory visibility solutions, or asset-tracking initiatives is highly preferred
• Proven experience designing and supporting system integrations
• Experience with API development and enterprise integration patterns
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions
• Experience participating in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and modernization initiatives
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, DevOps practices, and production support environments
• Experience working with cloud and SaaS-based platforms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
