Job description

We are hiring for a Supply Chain Management Candidate. This program provides training throughout the organization. After successful completion, you will be ready to move into one of the following permanent positions: Extended Services Rep, Fleet Manager, Area Logistics Manager, or Account Manager.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Operations Department to learn how to manage, assign, monitor, and direct Drivers in their duties.
• Works closely with the Logistics team to provide customer service support in the execution of daily transportation activities for our customers.
• Works closely with the Dedicated Operations team to ensure optimum utilization of company assets while meeting the daily needs of the customer.
• Learn how to control costs by following established guidelines and promptness of swaps, out‑of‑routes, T‑Calls, and repowers.
• Generate accurate weekend pay reports.
• Communicate effectively and build professional relationships with customers, drivers, employees, and all levels of management.

Education and Experience

• Prefer broad knowledge of fields such as supply chain, accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
• Preferable equivalent to a four‑year college degree.
• 0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, with controlled temperature and low noise level, and minimal distractions. May require overnight travel at times.

Physical Activities

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and occasionally to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
