The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist role operates OSF HealthCare vehicles to ensure prompt pickup, transport, and delivery of packages across OSF entities and affiliated members, while maintaining precise route documentation and using scanning tools when required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and no more than one moving violation in the last 2 years.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operates OSF HealthCare vehicles to pickup, transport, and deliver lab specimens, medical supplies, mail and documents.
• Delivers pharmacy items and medical instruments, maintaining route records with manual and electronic documentation.

Expected pay for this position is $19.96 - $22.18/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist operates OSF HealthCare vehicles to provide prompt and accurate pickup, transportation, and delivery of packages including laboratory specimens, medical supplies, mail and documents, pharmacy and medical instruments to OSF entities and affiliated members. Maintains accurate records of route activity through the use of manual and electronic documentation; utilizes a mobile device scanner when required for documentation and route operation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid class D driver's license with a good driving record and no more than one moving violation within the last 2 years

Other Skills/Knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary as are creativity, tenacity, integrity, and vision.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 year prior work experience
