Job summary

Textron Systems, part of Textron, seeks a Manager, Supply Chain in Hunt Valley, MD to lead subcontract specialists and drive complex subcontracts with major suppliers. You will coordinate with sourcing, engineering and analytics teams to monitor performance, mitigate risks, and deliver cost improvements.

A background in government contracting (FAR Part 12/15) and project leadership is required. Qualifications include a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with experience, CPIM/CSCP/Six Sigma preferred,

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 3+ years in a related field or Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years.
• Government contracting experience with FAR Part 12 and 15 contracts preferred.
• CPIM, CSCP and Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontract specialists to negotiate and execute complex subcontracts with major suppliers.
• Provide regular reports to supply chain and program leadership on subcontract status and risks.
• Develop, coach and manage subcontract specialists and monitor performance and goals.
• Engage early in opportunities to optimize downstream supply chain performance.
• Support audit teams and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
