Job summary

Fastenal Co. seeks a Full-time Supply Chain Associate at our Fort Wayne, IN branch (2230 Meyer Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46803). Typical shift 7:00am–5:00pm, Mon–Fri, with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding and performance goals are met.

The role focuses on inventory control, procurement, quoting, and supporting B2B customers. Requires a driver’s license, a related degree or experience, strong communication, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Pursuing degree in related field OR relevant customer service experience
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail
• Strong organization and planning abilities
• Ability to lift 25lbs-50lbs (up to 75lbs)
• Pass drug screen (US/PR/Guam)

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success
