Siemens is seeking a Supply Chain and Inventory Specialist for our Fort Worth, TX facility. On-site, you will optimize material availability, inventory performance, and production continuity by strengthening procurement, warehouse, and P2P processes. You will collaborate with production and supply chain teams to deliver reliable outcomes.

You will use SAP, Excel, and BI tools to create actionable insights and dashboards, supporting inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an advanced degree.
  • Bring five or more years of supply chain experience as a buyer, planner, inventory specialist, materials specialist, or in a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Have hands-on experience using SAP or another ERP for purchasing, inventory management, MRP, or materials planning.
  • Have applied data analysis and forecasting techniques to develop actionable insights using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of inventory management, procurement coordination, forecasting, warehouse operations, and supply chain performance reporting.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

As a Supply Chain and Inventory Specialist supporting electrical products manufacturing, you will turn supply chain data into smarter decisions that improve material availability, inventory performance, and production continuity. By strengthening procurement, warehouse, and Purchase-to-Pay processes, you will help create the resilient flow of materials and information needed to manufacture reliable electrical infrastructure. This role is based on-site at our Fort Worth, Texas manufacturing facility, where close collaboration with production and supply chain teams is essential.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an advanced degree.
  • Bring five or more years of supply chain experience as a buyer, planner, inventory specialist, materials specialist, or in a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Have hands‑on experience using SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for purchasing, inventory management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), or materials planning.
  • Have applied data analysis and forecasting techniques to develop actionable insights using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of inventory management, procurement coordination, forecasting, warehouse operations, and supply chain performance reporting.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hold an Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) certification, including Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Have supported electrical products, low‑voltage equipment, industrial manufacturing, or high‑mix production environments.
  • Have developed supply chain dashboards, forecasts, process metrics, and management reports.
  • Have improved Purchase-to-Pay processes, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, or warehouse management operations.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaboration skills when working with production teams, project managers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Have applied negotiation, problem-solving, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • A combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
