Fastenal Co. is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Associate in Brooklyn Park, MN to manage branch inventory and support procurement, sourcing and quoting for customers.

The role involves handling purchase orders, backorder management, and coordinating resources to meet supply chain needs while supporting accounts receivable; occasional deliveries with a company vehicle may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain a valid driver's license.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing or related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimate/quote prices and source product.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
