Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to gain hands-on experience across estimating, contracts, quality, purchasing, logistics, and compliance supporting construction operations. You will learn while contributing to procurement and material management on real projects.

The program offers relocation opportunities, exposure to multiple districts, and a chance to build a career with opportunities and travel; candidates must be pursuing an undergrad/grad in SCM and be able to work full-time during

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Genuine interest in purchasing/procurement and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (May-August) and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Purchase high-quality materials at lowest cost per specifications.
• Maintain records of items purchased, costs, and inventories.
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Prepare purchase orders and review requisitions for goods and services.
• Present an End of Program Presentation to showcase work and development.
