Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a driven Supply Chain Intern to gain hands-on experience across contracting, purchasing, logistics, and material management. You will rotate through estimating, contracts, quality, and compliance while supporting construction operations and supplier relations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Supply Chain degree, have strong communication skills, and are able to travel and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or grad in Supply Chain or related field
• Interest in purchasing/procurement
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with good time management
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Customer service and leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives
• Purchase high-quality materials at lowest possible cost per specs
• Maintain records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, and inventories
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability
• Evaluate contract performance for compliance and changes
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bids, review requisitions
• Design and present an End of Program Presentation
