Job summary

Select Custom Solutions in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for Summer 2027 (approximately 12 weeks). The role supports day-to-day operations across procurement, logistics, inventory management and production planning, gaining hands-on experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment.

You will work with the Supply Chain team and cross-functional partners on data analysis, process improvements and special projects, developing foundational knowledge of supply chain systems

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum one (1) year working with and managing business reporting tools.
• Understanding of ERP functional areas such as: Accounting, Supply Chain, & Manufacturing.
• Ability to manage medium-size projects from start to finish including meetings, notes, action items, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Procurement Support: Assist with supplier communications, order placement, and tracking of purchase orders.
• Logistics Coordination: Support the logistics team in coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving transportation issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to best practices.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on supply chain performance metrics such as inventory levels and delivery times.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, quality assurance, and sales to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Perform other related duties and adhere to GMP and safety protocols.
