Select Custom Solutions in La Crosse, WI invites a Supply Chain Intern for Summer 2027. This 12-week program provides hands-on experience across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning, working with cross-functional teams.

You'll analyze data, support supplier communications, tracking of purchase orders, and contribute to process improvements while learning GMP and safety protocol adherence in a food and beverage manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience with business reporting tools.
• Understanding of ERP functional areas such as accounting, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Ability to manage medium-size projects from start to finish, including meetings, notes, action items, and signoffs.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: collect and analyze data to support supply chain operations (demand forecasting, inventory, logistics).
• Inventory Management: monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Procurement Support: assist with supplier communications, purchase orders, and tracking.
• Logistics Coordination: help coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and resolve transport issues.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities for process improvements and support best practices implementation.
• Reporting: prepare and maintain supply chain performance reports and metrics.
