Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst-in-Training to support the analysis and continuous improvement of supply chain processes. You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to gather and validate information, and help develop SOPs, process maps, and training materials.

This role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and participation in procurement, supplier onboarding, and sustainability projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in a related field Supply Chain.
• Junior or Senior status by fall of 2026.
• 3.0 GPA
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• You have basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; specific technical skills may vary by role
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis and continuous improvement of supply chain processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to obtain, validate, and organize relevant business information.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, work instructions, process maps, and training materials.
• Analyze supply chain data and translate findings into meaningful reports, summaries, and recommendations.
• Participate in projects involving procurement, supplier onboarding, supplier management, sustainability, and purchasing
• Track project actions, process updates, and implementation progress.
• Develop an understanding of how supply chain decisions affect cost, risk, service, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Research supply chain practices and present practical improvement ideas for team consideration.
• Support process-governance activities, including documentation standards, approval workflows, roles, and responsibilities.
