Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, OH is offering an internship across Commercial Sourcing Advisor, Supply Chain Associate, or Business Analyst roles. You will learn MPC policies, supplier relations, and financial processes while supporting procurement, data analysis and system improvements.

The internship requires concurrent enrollment, strong academics, and authorization to work in the US. It is a full-time, on-location position based in Findlay, with locations at additional sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, Integrated Supply Management, or Logistics.
• Strong academic performance.
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Full-time internship, 40 hours per week, on-location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Commercial Sourcing Advisor/SC Associate with procurement, contracts and materials management.
• Support category management, contract management and supplier diversity processes.
• Help purchase indirect goods and services and engage in cross-functional category work.
• Assist Business Analyst by identifying, visualizing and analyzing data for business insights; collaborate with AP, Finance, Supply Chain and IT.
