Job summary

The Kroger/King Soopers Summer Internship Program offers a full-time, 12-week immersive experience in the Supply Chain field. Interns rotate through Corporate Supply Chain and store operations, working on diverse projects and learning from senior leaders during the May 17–August 6 period.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning, professional development, and exposure to cross-functional teams including HR, operations, QA, engineering and IT.

Qualifications

• Open to all majors, actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university.
• Applicants must have work authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Highly motivated with initiative and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple supply chain projects and adhere to timelines.
• Communicate status and risks to teams.
• Assist with documenting supply chain processes and best practices.
• Create process improvement projects.
• Conduct supply chain analyses and identify opportunities.
• Develop and present project summaries to executives or managers.
