Job summary

The Kroger/King Soopers Summer Internship Program offers a 12-week immersive experience with full-time hours, rotation dates May 17 to August 6, and exposure to senior leaders across supply chain functions. Interns will work on meaningful projects, receive competitive pay, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Conduct supply chain analysis.
• Actively seek and recommend new supply chain project opportunities.
• Assist with project risk, develop plans and elevate unresolved issues.
• Partner with appropriate teams to elicit, analyze, document and deliver supply chain solutions.
• Complete cumulative project (summary of internship accomplishments) and present to executive team or appropriate manager(s).

Job Description

The Kroger/King Soopers Summer Internship Program is a Full time 12 week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Rotation dates: (May 17th - August 6th).

Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing interns have the opportunity to work within the Corporate Supply Chain team, as well as within the operational departments that comprise Kroger’s supply chain such as Human Resources, Operations, QA, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Transportation, Maintenance, Safety, Inventory, Information Technology and Store Operations. Our interns will role model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Work Hours: Full time

Qualifications

Minimum

• Open to all majors, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university
