Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Supply Chain Change Management professional to lead cross-functional change initiatives and ensure effective execution across operations, engineering, and procurement teams.

You will participate in change committees, drive ECN reviews, and maintain SAP accountability for material substitutions, while mentoring staff and reporting metrics to the Director of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as active core member on project change committees reviewing ECRs, ECOs, and ECNs through a supply chain lens.
• Act as the primary supply chain operational liaison connecting the Director of Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, procurement, and manufacturing plants.
• Manage change workflows when responding to shifting schedules, priority changes, and supply chain constraints that warrant material substitutions and adjustments.
• Provide precise direction on material re-assignment, substitution, and repurposing of materials already pulled from stock under existing production orders, ensuring strict material accountability and inventory integrity within SAP.
• Maintain meeting logs. Track change implementation metrics and backlogs to report status and escalation risks upward to the Director of Supply Chain.
• Provide robust leadership, oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to your direct report(s) and project team members on key project procedures, SAP practices, risk mitigation, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
