Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to analyze and improve supply chain processes using data, technology, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, improve performance, and support strategic supply chain initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• 3–5 years of industrial engineering experience in distribution or fulfillment
• Exposure to labor planning and capacity planning
• Experience with productivity rates, labor savings analysis, engineering standards, and process improvement
• Experience in distribution or fulfillment facility operations
• Experience with Supply Chain systems (WMS, LMS, TMS)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives
• Experience with Good to Person (GTP) warehouse automation and systems

• Assess DC Operations to identify optimization opportunities to improve flow, throughput, capacity, productivity, and OEE
• Establishing and document standards for supply chain facilities
• Development and updating of DC capacities in storage and processing
• Flow analysis
• Bottleneck analysis
• Cycle time analysis
• Time and motion studies
• Inventory slotting
• CAD drawing update and revisions
• Manage multiple projects from concept to execution
• Support the needs of the business for Operations Excellence
