Job summary

The role will collaborate across sales, procurement, legal, and finance to improve routing, vendor evaluations, and SOPs, ensuring accurate material flow and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 7 years experience preferred with proven leadership skills
• Knowledge of computer-based design and analysis tools - route optimization, simulation, work measurement, spreadsheet, and database analysis
• Strong background in engineering, math, analytics, and visualization or optimization techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, self-sufficient and self-directed
• Capable of building strong relationships across organizational boundaries
• Familiar with logistics contracts and tariffs, warehousing, and inventory management
• Familiarity with international logistics operations and trade compliance
• Advanced knowledge of ERP, MES, and SAP experience preferred
• Some travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with import and export customs requirements and regulations.
• Utilizes project management and problem-solving skills to assess the effectiveness of current logistics and/or transportation processes.
• Determines improvements, evaluates cost, and coordinates institutionalized change.
• Investigates and implements new technologies and information systems.
• Analyzes logistics networks, optimizing delivery times and cost of delivery.
• Analyzes vendor proposals, pricing structures, and performance criteria to make recommendations and assists with the buying of logistics services.
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and performance standards.
