Job summary

C.H. Robinson Worldwide is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer in Chicago to design solutions that optimize customers' end-to-end supply chains. You will analyze data, develop recommendations, and lead projects with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and travel readiness. This hybrid position emphasizes collaboration across sourcing, transportation, and warehousing to deliver cost improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and summarize data, including graphs, charts, formulas, functions, macros, VBA, solvers, and regression analysis.
  • Experience using data visualization and analytical tools.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 10% (domestically and internationally).
  • Preferred: identify trends, patterns, and outliers in supply chain data and coach others in data storytelling.
  • Strong delegation, organization, and task management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and business goals.
  • Understanding end-to-end supply chain functions and relationships.
  • Champion of lean processes and tools for continuous improvement.

Supply Chain Engineer

The Supply Chain Engineer will design solutions and develop capabilities to support the strategic vision of C.H. Robinson and its customers. The role focuses on optimizing customers’ supply chains—from sourcing to transportation, to warehouse management and beyond.

Location & Hybrid Work

Hybrid position: in–office presence required 4 days a week at our Chicago, IL office.

Compensation

$66,900.00 - $105,700.00 (Annual Base Salary)
