DSJ Global seeks a New Supply Chain Director in Carlsbad, CA to oversee end-to-end supply chain, logistics, procurement, and inventory across multiple distribution centers. Reporting to the C-suite, you will lead a team of direct reports and drive cost efficiency and service excellence.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, forecasting, and risk management, with a focus on food safety and regulatory standards in a fast-growing restaurant business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (ideally analytical).
• 10+ years experience in Supply Chain management.
• 5+ years Leadership in the Restaurant/Food space.
• 5+ years Procurement experience (Buying Proteins).
• Strong cost saving and process-improvement accomplishments.
• Experience with managing teams of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain, logistics, distribution, and procurement operations for cost efficiency.
• Manage strategic relationships with distributors, manufacturers, suppliers, and partners.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, vendor agreements, and procurement programs.
• Oversee forecasting, inventory management, pricing negotiations, and renewals.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, invoice accuracy, rebates, and inventory health.
• Ensure supply chain for new openings and launches from sourcing to rollout.
• Lead supplier selection, strategic sourcing, and commodity market analysis.
• Maintain supplier standards for food safety, quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial leadership through budgeting, cost management, and savings opportunities.
• Direct the Supply Chain function and communicate risks and performance to leadership.
