  • Inventory Management: Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance customer service requirements with working capital objectives; establish inventory targets, stocking policies, safety stock methodologies, and replenishment parameters; monitor inventory health, including excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and at-risk inventory; partner with Finance and Operations to reduce inventory risk while supporting growth and customer commitments; drive actions to improve inventory turns, cash flow, and service-level performance
  • Tactical Purchasing & Supplier Execution: Lead the tactical purchasing organization responsible for procurement execution and supplier order management; ensure timely placement and management of purchase orders to support production and customer requirements; monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and material availability to minimize supply disruptions; partner closely with Strategic Sourcing to support sourcing initiatives, supplier transitions, and risk mitigation activities; develop processes that improve purchasing efficiency, supplier communication, and material planning discipline
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Product Management, Logistics, and Finance to ensure alignment across the end-to-end supply chain; support new product introductions, product lifecycle management, and demand transitions; lead efforts to identify and resolve supply chain constraints impacting customer service or operational performance; drive a customer-focused and data-driven culture that prioritizes enterprise results over functional optimization
  • Team Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing organization of planners, inventory managers, and buyers; establish clear performance expectations, development plans, and succession planning initiatives; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence; provide coaching and leadership to strengthen analytical and strategic planning capabilities across the team
