Job description

1. U.S. Warehousing & Last-Mile Logistics Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of all U.S. warehouses (including TX, DFW, LA, etc.), ensuring high accuracy in inbound receiving, inventory management, returns processing, and outbound fulfillment while optimizing warehouse utilization, transportation capacity, delivery efficiency, and facility infrastructure management.
  • Take full ownership of warehousing and last-mile logistics costs across the United States, driving operational efficiency and continuous cost optimization.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of nationwide last-mile delivery operations to enhance fulfillment efficiency and customer experience.
  • Develop and implement white-glove delivery service operations, including the integration and management of both in-house teams and third-party service providers, ensuring premium service standards are consistently achieved.
2. China–U.S. Supply Chain Coordination & Management
  • Collaborate closely with the China supply chain team to conduct pre-shipment reviews and assessments for goods destined for the U.S., proactively identifying logistics risks and operational challenges.
  • Develop warehouse allocation strategies and transportation routing plans based on product attributes, destination requirements, and delivery timelines to optimize inventory distribution and transportation costs.
  • Participate in shipment planning and execution adjustments, promoting an “end-to-end” logistics design approach focused on operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Lead the evaluation, onboarding, contract negotiation, and ongoing management of third-party warehouses and logistics providers across the U.S., ensuring service quality and cost performance meet company standards.
  • Establish and maintain performance monitoring mechanisms for 3PL partners, conducting regular business reviews to drive continuous service improvement and operational excellence.
4. Team Building & Talent Development
  • Design the organizational structure and workforce planning for the U.S. logistics team, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and operational objectives.
  • Promote localized management practices while developing the operational and leadership capabilities of warehouse managers and key team members.
  • Partner with the HR team to establish practical and scalable training, performance evaluation, and career development systems to build a highly efficient and execution-oriented local logistics organization.
  • Foster a professional, collaborative, and positive team culture that enhances employee engagement, retention, and organizational stability.
5. Budget Management & Cost Control
  • Take full responsibility for budgeting, cost monitoring, and expense analysis across the U.S. warehousing and logistics network, ensuring all operational expenditures remain within approved budgets.
  • Build and maintain warehousing and logistics cost models, regularly analyzing key metrics such as unit cost and labor productivity to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, resource integration, and technology adoption to reduce overall warehousing, transportation, and last‑mile fulfillment costs.
  • Review and approve major logistics‑related expenditures, including third‑party service fees, equipment procurement, and temporary labor costs, ensuring reasonable ROI and cost‑effectiveness.
Qulifications

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management, including at least 5 years of hands‑on experience managing U.S. warehouse operations and last‑mile logistics. Multi‑site and multi‑state operational management experience is highly preferred.

2. Strong understanding of U.S. logistics networks, last‑mile delivery models, and third‑party logistics (3PL) management. Experience managing white‑glove delivery services is highly preferred.

3. Demonstrated expertise in supply chain planning and cost control, with the ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs through warehouse optimization, resource integration, and process improvement initiatives.

4. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to leverage operational data for cost analysis, performance evaluation, and strategic decision‑making.

5. Excellent cross‑cultural communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between U.S. and China teams as well as cross‑functional departments.

6. Proven leadership experience in building and developing high‑performing local logistics teams, with a strong ability to drive execution excellence and improve employee retention. 7. Familiar with cross‑regional communication and collaboration.Willing to travel to China for extended business trips as needed.
