Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Supply Chain Master Data Management Co-op in Boston. You will work on governance, data quality, and documentation across planning teams, collaborating with SMEs and digital technology groups. This 6‑month paid program offers hands-on experience in master data processes and governance.

Flex @ Vertex enables hybrid on-site work in Boston. You’ll contribute to building training materials, data workflows, and metric-driven improvements while gaining exposure to ERP and planning

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an advanced degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, IT, or Analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for internships/co-ops. Note: program requires enrollment in an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, DTE and SMEs to document data-related processes.
• Develop and document master data governance practices and training materials.
• Support data collection, analysis, and visualizations to measure key metrics.
• Maintain documentation repositories and reference materials.
• Assist with workshop content and stakeholder engagement.
