Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support purchasing, planning and stockroom functions. You will learn operational and tactical activities while performing administrative tasks and assisting core team members.

Responsibilities include work order generation, critical order tracking, router updates, and PO follow-ups. You will gain exposure to inventory control, cycle counts, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with integrity and reliability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word).
• Able to lift packages up to 35lbs and support shipping/warehousing tasks.
• U.S. Person or export authorization ability.
• Available to work 30+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Supply Chain department.
• Assist in work order generation and critical order tracking.
• Update routers and verify weekly WIP quantities.
• Filing of purchase orders and follow up on POs.
