Job summary

Emerson seeks a supply chain co-op student to drive process improvements and automation. You will tackle commodity code standardization, supplier analysis, and STAM tooling updates while developing surveys for site feedback and supplier reviews.

You will explore AI, Power BI, and Power Automate to streamline tasks, develop onboarding work instructions, and assist commodity managers with data analysis and coordination.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Problem-solving mindset; lead with curiosity and logic.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with professionals in a wide variety of roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborative approach in team settings as well as the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process improvement and/or automation projects.
• Standardize and update commodity codes.
• Analyze supplier data and perform supplier reviews.
• Update STAM tooling as needed.
• Develop surveys for site feedback for supplier reviews.
• Review processes for Lean/improvement opportunities.
• Explore AI, Power BI, and Power Automate to create practical solutions.
• Develop work instructions and training tools for onboarding.
• Assist data analysis for supplier development and tensioning opportunities.
• Train users on Microsoft Automation suite and Copilot AI.
• Support Commodity Managers and team members with tasks.
