Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Full-time Supply Chain Associate to manage branch inventory and support B2B procurement, sourcing, and quoting to meet customer needs.

The role is based at 820 Fesslers Ln, Nashville, TN 37210, with potential flexible scheduling after onboarding and performance goals. Responsibilities include managing inventory, placing purchase orders, backorder management, price quotes, resource coordination, and assisting AR activities.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Current valid driver’s license with ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR relevant experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, detail orientation and urgency.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success.
