Job summary

Fastenal's Plymouth, MN branch is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Associate to manage inventory, administer procurement, sourcing, and quoting to support B2B customers. The role is based at 2950 Xenium Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55441 and may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance milestones.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR relevant work experience.

OVERVIEW

Embark on a dynamic journey as a Full-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain excellence. In addition to managing inventory, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business-to-business operations by administering procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions that seamlessly meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of their business. This position is for our branch located at 2950 Xenium Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55441. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field of study OR have customer service or industry related work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $36,000 - 42,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
