Job Description

The Supply Chain Associate will work with various operations teams to procure, track, and report movements of COR (Company Owned Rental) equipment in the field to ensure accurate costs are captured and reported to accounting for proper billing. This may include, but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility:

  • Work in conjunction with the Supply Chain Lead to ensure proper documentation is being submitted by engineers for the company’s AFE approval process.
  • General understanding of field operations from drilling through production.
  • Work with various in-house applications and understand the different operations they support.
  • Work with operations and EOG warehouse personnel on the coordination of receiving in COR equipment.
  • Be able to understand state registration and inspection processes for company-owned trailers.
  • Track and maintain titles, documentation, requests, and create purchase orders for new and existing trailer purchases.
  • Compile and maintain manual or computerized records, such as material transfers, available inventory, status and location of materials.
  • Update and monitor Excel worksheets associated with COR equipment tracking for reporting and billing purposes.
  • Support operations groups as needed in researching to ensure proper charges to projects and AFE’s.
  • This role will require an in-depth understanding of the Division’s operational areas and accounting practices and include the need for ongoing communications with all areas of operations to ensure that procurement needs are met on a daily basis.
Job Requirements

This position will involve light travel to field locations and vendor facilities.

  • High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritize workload in a dynamic working environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and MS Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, interacts with others in a courteous, helpful and professional manner.
  • A team player who works effectively with others at all levels and in all disciplines in a team environment and is able to maintain a sense of camaraderie in working with others.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
  • Be creative and innovate in optimizing processes and increasing efficiencies within the department.
  • Be resourceful in accomplishing work tasks and obtaining needed information.
