Job summary

Global Edge Group is looking for a candidate for an office-based position focused on supporting the field operations and engineering teams in US onshore operations. The role involves executing fluid hauling and disposal strategies while providing financial support through detailed invoice processing and maintaining vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate should possess a High School Diploma or GED, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and have strong organizational skills. Knowledge of SAP and the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.

Job description

Position represents consolidation of logistics activities and the establishment and maintenance of a defined network in order to execute commercial and logistical strategies related to fluid hauling management. This function also allows field operations to concentrate and implement efficiencies on other categories.

Responsible for executing fluid hauling and water disposal strategy by assisting management and tech to ensure all work orders and paperwork are completed as needed. Tracking and monitoring of trucking companies and jobs, along with data entry to accurately record these jobs. Job entails heavy focus of networking with field operations, trucking companies, supply chain, and management with excellent service quality.

Problem solving, decision‑making abilities, multi‑tasking, creativity and teamwork are required.

Job Summary

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in various office functions including processing invoices
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts
  • Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships
  • Ability to perform in a demanding, busy office environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with SAP and the Oil & Gas industry a plus
Responsibilities
  • Provide financial support through accurate and efficient invoice coding in work orders. Use of SAP financial software and the general ledger account structure.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal personnel to ensure efficiency and accuracy on payments
  • Provide assistance to internal and external customers concerning invoices, data management, and other audit requirements
  • Work with the water logistics techs and other teams to ensure water hauling and disposal are being managed appropriately
  • Assist and support operations teams as needed in water transportation
  • Maintain simple databases or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points.
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Collect and record hard copy paper data from the field into electronic systems.
  • Create and submit work orders, POs, and notifications
  • Follow all company procedures and established guidelines
Education

High School Diploma or GED is required. Additional business education preferred
