Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is hiring for an Evening shift inventory/materials management role at the Burnet Campus, 40 hours per week. The department is Material Mgt, with an FTE of 1 and a regular employee status.

Starting pay ranges from $16.75 to $20.27 per hour, based on experience, skills and equity. The job involves receiving, stocking, picking, and distributing supplies to clinical and operational departments, with occasional weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels through replenishment, cycle counting, and stock rotation
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately and efficiently
• Pick, prepare, and distribute supply orders to clinical and operational departments
• Monitor inventory locations and resolve stock discrepancies
• Utilize inventory management systems to track supplies and maintain accurate records
• Verify product expiration dates and support inventory quality initiatives
• Communicate inventory shortages, backorders, and supply concerns to leadership
• Partner with customers and team members to ensure timely fulfillment of supply needs
• Follow departmental safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Support additional supply chain and materials management functions as assigned

Job Responsibilities

Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm, 40 hours/week. May include every other weekend and a holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies, equipment, and inventory
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as required
• Ability to work in warehouse, storeroom, and healthcare environments

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Previous inventory control, materials management, or supply chain experience
