Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Food Services team member at the Burnet Campus to staff, prepare, serve, and replenish meals for patients, families, visitors and staff, while delivering compassionate service.

The full-time, day-shift position involves 40 hours per week with a 1.0 FTE and a rotating weekend/holiday schedule; starting pay ranges from $16.75 to $20.27 per hour, with experience-based adjustments and benefits described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing coverage across Food Services as needed
• Prepare, serve, stock, and replenish food and beverage items
• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders when assigned
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards
• Support cash handling, inventory, stocking, and other operational duties as assigned
• Adapt to changing work locations, assignments, and departmental needs

Job Responsibilities

Schedule

Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts will be scheduled between 5a-4:30p, 40 hours/week

• Provide staffing coverage across Food Services as needed

Schedule Expectations

• This is a relief position with no guaranteed schedule
• Work assignments are based on departmental staffing needs and may vary from week to week
• There is a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
