Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is hiring for a Food Services position at the Burnet Campus to staff, prepare, and serve meals while ensuring patient nutrition. You will assemble patient trays and maintain high sanitation standards in a dynamic hospital kitchen.

Responsibilities include delivering courteous service to patients, families, visitors, and staff, handling inventory, and supporting various operational tasks as assigned. Flexibility for shift changes is required.

• Expected Starting Pay Range $16.75 - $20.27
• Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

Job Responsibilities

Schedule

8.5 hour shifts will be scheduled between 10:30am-11pm, 40 hours/week

• Provide staffing coverage across Food Services as needed

Schedule Expectations

• This is a relief position with no guaranteed schedule
• Work assignments are based on departmental staffing needs and may vary from week to week
• There is a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
