Job description

The Supply Chain Associate is an individual who will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations and receiving tasks within the company's Supply Chain Management department.

Responsibilities

1. Support warehouse and supply chain operations.
2. Manage and track inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
3. Oversee third-party warehousing for production materials and surplus assets.
4. Act as the subject matter expert for inventory management software, including POMS net and NetSuite.
5. Prepare materials for shipment, including wrapping packages and organizing deliveries and pickups.
6. Assist Quality Assurance in releasing materials by ensuring proper documentation is handled.
7. Conduct inventory transactions in the system, entering new quantities and removing items during shipping processes. Support cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
8. Assist management with administrative tasks such as filing documents, handling customer service inquiries, investigating transportation claims, managing surplus disposal, and maintaining records.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
10. Comply with all company policies and standards.

Experience & Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain role, preferably in the Pharma/BioPharma industry.
3. Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
4. Familiarity with ERP, MRP, MES, and inventory management systems is preferred.
5. Proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet, and data management software.
6. Project management experience is an advantage.
7. Strong skills in sourcing and vendor management are beneficial.
8. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage tasks efficiently.
9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
10. Flexibility to work varying hours and some travel may be required.
